Sitges - España

    Sitges é uma praia que fica 36 km ao sul de Barcelona, em direção à Tarragona. A parte antiga da cidade tem uma catedral com canhões ao lado. Fica junto ao mar e é um dos cartões postais de Sitges. Para o outro lado a cidade se caracteriza por casa e prédios brancos ou em tons terrosos e muitas flores nas janelas e balcões. 

Sitges é também uma cidade GLS, isso fica claro em suas praias e seus bares. Mas é uma boa alternativa para quem busca uma praia mais bonita do que as de Barcelona e ainda assim perto do centro. Pode-se chegar em carro ou facilmente em trem.

   Sitges is a beach 36 km south of Barcelona, towards Tarragona. The old town has a cathedral with cannons. It`s located by the sea and one of Sitges most famous postcards. To the opposite side, the city is full of white and terracota houses and buildings, full of flowers on it`s windows and balconies.

Sitges is also a GLS city, you can see it from it´s beaches and bars. Yet is a great alternative for those who are looking for a beach prettier than Barcelona but still close to the center. You can easily get there by car or train.

A Catedral - The cathedral

   Casa Bacardi: Foi em Sitges que nasceu Facundo Bacardí i Massó, que depois imigrou para Cuba e lá fundou a empresa de rum Bacardí. Em Sitges existe a Casa Bacardi, uma espécie de Museu sobre a história da Bacardi e de Sitges. Há na beira da praia uma escultura que também homenageia a Bacardi e seu famoso morcego. 

    Casa Bacardi: It was in Sitges that the founder of Bacardi`s Rom, Facundo Bacardi I Massó, was born. He imigrated to Cuba and there founded the company. In Sitges there is the Bacardi House, a sort of museum that shows the history of Bacardi and Sitges. There`s also a sculpture by the beach about Bacardi and it´s famous bat.
